I  made a msnbot , (MSNP15) , my msnbot monitor my e-business web , when there is a purchase order , my msnbot will
send a message to some people.

at first my robot send one message to his buddy(ms live messenger). He can receive messenge right now.

then ,  my robot send a lot of messages to his buddy. He don't receive message until he send one message to robot,

I just want to know , what's wrong with my program , or MSN do not allow robot send a lot of messenge without got some resonpond from his buddy ??

Hi,

When i try to add group using alertsService.AddGroup to live alerts i got this error "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 65.54.226.231:80" .please can any one help me to figure it out what is wrong and please let me know if any links which will help me to configure the windows live alerts to test environment..

I installed NOD32 antivirus and after scanning my laptop it found 3 infected files that I deleted them. After that when I want to change the date and time it pops up an alert: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe Application not found".

While the rundll32.exe file exists in the shown addressed.

Also, I have problems with running .exe programs and I should run them through task manager. :-( 

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

hi there,

 

i realize that the Alerts Message and Subscription service filter based on IP .. so given that, i'm wondering what other folks have used to deal with testing and hosting scenarios that use DHCP / localhost or move IP's regularly?

 

- developing and testing alert functionality on localhost seems to be challenged in this regard ?

- we host on a provider that doesn't provide us with a fixed IP address so while i can email the alerts sdk team and get new ip's added to the allowed list this really isn't practical in production.

 

what are folks doing?
